This is because the hose that is at the coach is being fed as if it was connected to a propane bottle with an Acme fitting. We are treating the hose coming from the house like a propane bottle connection with a localized shutoff at both ends. Since only one end of the pigtail spins freely, this is a perfect quick install setup and works awesome! This scares me lol, but I actually heard about these Extend-A-Stay Kits from a KOA when I stopped in to fill up. I have a Winnebago Sprinter Van and it only holds about 9 pounds and really gets what 80% full in reality. I scared to mess with propane period.
